Lattafa Bade'e Al Oud Oud for Glory Reviews
Fragrantica - "One of my favourites. Most people have no idea how well Bade’e Al Oud works on a summer’s evening. They wouldn’t believe it, because most wearers in the West will tell them it’s an autumn/winter fragrance. Oud has long been an integral part of Arab culture and history, and the Arab world is essentially the world’s desert."
Fragrantica - "This has an unpleasant ashy/dry wood opening that you don't want to put your nose up close to. After 1 hour is where Oud for Glory really shines. A dark woody lavender with patchouli. Doing a side-by-side comparison with Oud for Greatness, this one does smell cheaper and sweeter (in the drydown) but also easier to wear for the average person. More unisex too. It's less woodsy and more aromatic, it went heavier on the lavender and patchouli, then lighter on the oud and saffron. Some whiffs actually remind me of Ralph's Club. There is a point along the drydown where the similarity of Oud for Glory and Oud for Greatness nearly match. But the majority of the wear is, I'd say, 85% clone. It does remind me of some churches I've been in, like other commenters have said, but it's not a bad thing. This is a really good fragrance."
Fragrantica - "I purchased this over a year ago. I loved it from first sniff. This is definitely a unisex scent. I could see some people thinking it leans masculine tho. It's a little aromatic and spicy. The oud is smooth and very well done. The saffron is prominent and gorgeous. I do think this fragrance has to be worn with confidence. It's performance is amazing. Don't overspray. 2-3 sprays can fill a room. This a fragrance people will notice."
