Fragrantica - "Khamrah Qahwa has the whole of my heart. I recently purchased the sample of both the og khamrah and the qawah because I wasn't sure which I would like better and let me tell you I'm all here for Qawah. I can't stop wearing it. It is warm, dense and cozy with a hint of a creamy coconut note. I know coconut is not listed as one of the notes but that creaminess, atleast to my nose, has a very distinct coconut vibe to it. I think it's the tonka and the praline that's getting translated as the coconut to my nose. However it only comes through in the dry down.
Do not expect this to be an intense coffee fragrance. It is not. If you buy this hoping for it smell like an intense espresso or some kind of roasted coffee, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. The coffee here is very mellow. And I suppose the inspiration here is Arabian coffee or Qahwa as the name suggests which, as far as my knowledge goes is much milder and sweeter and is apparently served with dates. So no crazy coffee note but it is definitely there. It adds a subtle but complex and sophisticated denseness in the background that I am absolutely going crazy over. "
