Fragrantica - "I've been mildly to moderately obsessed with finding the perfect petrichor-y, forest-y scent for a minute & this is striking the perfect balance that I didn't know existed. I have a full bottle on the way but my wear test with my sample is making me look certifiably crazy which means... I'm in lust. Eyes rolling back, can't believe we're here, level obsession. Prior to this I've named Sunday Coven Haus' Twilight Rain as my dream petrichor. And I STILL ADORE it. But, it is a true mf petrichor, which isn't always wearable. Forest Sounds basically has a 'net' of freshness that hovers you juuust above getting right up in the ripeness of a forest floor. This loam is the froth & not the chaff, if that makes sense? Perhaps the yuzu is levitating the earthy just above the full forest teabagging that so many of these scents whip you with... forgive the crass characterization. Or don't, whatever. EITHER WAY Liis is a conducting a masterclass here in my opinion."
Fragrantica - "I'm a huge fan! It's green and watery, in a way that feels perfect for daytime and office wear. More unique than a typical aquatic and much more appeal than some green smells can be that go too dark and earthy for general palatability."
Fragrantica - "This is probably the first fragrance I've gotten that perfects that earthy smell, it smells like damp soil. The wetness from the rain note and the brightness of the yuzu pair perfectly together that makes it smell fresh and wet. The dry down is interesting, most of the opening notes are mellowed down and the vetiver comes through. I would say this perfectly encapsulates that wet forest that was rained on at night, and slowly dries down to a lively forest that was just showered during the day. "
