Louis Vuitton Mille Feux is part of the launch of Louis Vuitton's new perfume line in 2016. Under the direction of Jacques Cavallier Belletrude in Grasse over the four years preceding 2016, the initial launch collection is made up of Apogee, Contre Moi, Dans la Peau, Matiere Noire, Mille Feux, Rose des Vents and Turbulences.
Louis Vuitton Mille Feux is a unisex leather fragrance with notes of raspberry, bergamot, saffron, osmanthus, rose, iris, jasmine, leather, orris root, sandalwood, moss and patchouli. From the brand - "On a visit to one of Louis Vuitton’s leather ateliers, he saw a craftsman transforming raspberry-colored leather into a luxurious handbag. The skin as bright as ripe fruit gave him an idea: to associate the scent of leather with that of the berry. He shaped the composition with osmanthus, a white flower with an animal and apricot scent, iris and saffron. Mille Feux is like an emotional bombshell."
Louis Vuitton is a French luxury fashion company - famous for their gorgeous and distinctive bags and the LV monogram. Founded in 1854, it was folded into LMVH, which has the brands of Moet et Chandon, Hennessy and Louis Vuitton.
Fragrantica - "You are lounging outside a bistro in Paris on a warm summer evening. Instead of the aperol spritz that you normally go for, you are served an icy citrus sorbet topped with sweet raspberry confiture. The warm lingering summer sun quickly melts the sorbet, exposing even more of its fragrant fruity sweetness. As it melts, a surprise is revealed, you smell the saffron, osmanthus, and rose that was infused into the sorbet. After you savoured the aperitif, still able to taste the lingering note of saffron on your tongue, you get up to enter the tiny rustic bistro. You are invited by wafts of leather seats running along one side of the restaurant, as well as a cozy sandalwood scent from the wooden interior. After you settle into the tight seating, you also notice the powdery and earthy patchouli fragrance from the well-groomed gentleman next to you. Fragrantica - "Delicious, warm and sensual. This juice is incredible! Smells like warm Napa Leather and Fresh juicy raspberries all tied together. Tom Ford has done this as well - however, the main difference being TF having more of an interest in blowing you away with the rigid sharp lether (which I also love) and LV more interested in captivating you with a smoky trail of soft leather and sweet warm fruit."
