Francis Kurkdjian (Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris)
Maison Francis Kurkdjian Aqua Vitae was launched in 2013, created by Francis Kurkdjian and inspired by a trip to the island Formentera. Notes of lemon, mandarin, hedione, vanilla, tonka, and gaiac wood.
From the brand - "The art of fragrance made easy. Inspired by life itself, the Aqua Vitae Maison Francis Kurkdjian eau de toilette is sensually full-bodied by nature and delicate by essence. It scents the skin to become one with the wearer. This citrusy scent tickles the senses and wakes you with lemon from Calabria, mandarins from Sicily, hedione, vanilla absolute, tonka bean and gaiac wood. The delicious whisper of Aqua Vitae eau de toilette consumes the space between you and the other triggering an irresistible urge to plant tender kisses on the neck."
Fragrantica - "I love this scent. It's fresh, interesting and suitable for many occasions. Works also in colder days as vanilla and tonka bring warmer tones and a bit spice in it, too."
Fragrantica - "Before looking at notes I guessed gin and tonic, like lime and aldehydes making for a cooling alcohol affect. I do get some warmth but it’s subtle. Reminds me of a way better version of vodka on the rocks, that one is headache city, this one is smooth and enjoyable. Versatile too."
Fragrantica - "Definitely a unisex fragrance but i think it has a multiple possibility of evolution on different skins. On me is more vanilla sweet, on my boyfriend is more lime fresh. It seems like 2 different fragrances and it 's addictive. Just love it!"
Fragrantica - "The citrus here is absolutely just a supporting note. The sharp citrus is already rounded by the blunt scent of guaiac wood and the sweetness of the tonka bean. The citrus here is unnoticeable. This is refined, rounded and elegant."
