Fragrantica - "Black Gold is just this absolutely amazing blend of common accords that is incredibly well-crafted and unlike anything I have ever smelled. I do not usually like leather in my fragrances but here it is not as prominent and is done in a different way from other fragrances I have tried. (A more smooth/light leather scent rather than the scorching summer leather car seat smell that I hate). Black Gold lasts a while and is very strong according to those who smell it on me, which isn't surprising considering it's Mancera. It is more suited for Winter/Night time."
Fragrantica - "Fresh scent DNA combined with an oriental middle eastern touch. Overall this smells pretty expensive and high quality"
Fragrantica - "Out of all of my versatile fragrances I find this one to just be the best overall. It doesn't have the best longevity and projection but it is well above average. It isn't the most crowd pleasing fragrance but it is well above average. It isn't the cheapest but for the quality once again, what you get is well above average. Safe but masculine. Nothing skanky about it. Just fresh, clean, and classy."
Fragrantica - "Very complex and interesting scent. Heavy lavender and powder opening that took some getting used too but a strong woody scent with it on the opening as well. The settle down is great into a darker leather but stays fresh with the lavender. More sunny scent imo but good winter leather scent as well."
