Description

Marissa Zappas Marshmallow Muff was released in 2026, inspired by what seems to be a Smore with notes of graham cracker, toasted marshmallow, roasted orris, ambrette, tonka, sandalwood and musk. Marissa Zappas Marshmallow Muff is an eau de parfum, edp.  From the brand - "A creamy-white confection skewered straight through the heart and roasted over the embers of a sandalwood flame. Don’t let the graham crackers fool you, this isn’t a treat… it’s dinner. Curling smoke from a freshly lit Capri drifts into musky clouds of orris, tonka, and ambrette, smudging the line between confection and carnal."

Marissa Zappas is a line of fragrances that launched in 2022. She is a perfumer, scent designer, and poet based in New York City. Her approach to perfumery merges her background in anthropology with her admiration for avant garde perfumes of the early twentieth century.

Marissa Zappas Marshmallow Muff REVIEWS

Fragrantica -  "Smells like a black-and-white film starlet smoking a cigarette in a bubble bath. Like marshmallows, it has a touch of sweetness but isn’t overindulgent. It’s not Love Don’t Be Shy (though I’m a fan of that too). There’s something else there. It’s waking up in the morning with the smell of a wonderful night still on you. It’s a smell I know but can’t place. It’s what I imagine I’d wear if I knew I were going to appear to someone in their dream that night."
