Memories in the Attic Sampler - Set of Four 1/2ml Samples

The fragrances in this sampler are reminiscent of the smell of an attic - the scent of dusty memories, old clothes and forgotten treasures.

You will receive  a 1/2ml sample (1ml sample vial filled half full) of each of the fragrances in this sampler.  

1. Alpha Musk Attic Portal Perfume Oil - Musty stale attic air permeates from the dusty weathered wooden crates filled with broken shells, cracked sculptures, moths gnawing on hand dyed silks and heirloom family prints holding secrets of the past better left unknown.
2. Ghoulish Goods Attic Antiques Perfume Oil - A complex blend of dusty antiques, aged fabric, musty wood and forgotten dolls. The scent opens up with a dust covered, old and faded potpourri that was left out from last season. It intertwines nicely with soft porcelain and aged fabric that bring a lighter touch. There is even an ever-so-slightly metallic note coming off the rusted chest hinges and old copper laps. These notes all blend with the musty wood scent from the attic humidity. With top notes of violet and incense; middle notes of cinnamon, clove and warm cashmere; and base notes of cedar, sandalwood, musk and patchouli.
3. Alpha Musk Little Luddite Perfume Oil - A blend of the blackest pub stout, dust-covered journals with memories hard to face, 60's sawdust, crate package filler, musty well-aged tolu and benzoin resins, 70's drugstore musk, rich creamy sandalwoods, saffron sachets, velvety aged ambers, attic stale varsity jackets, chiffon wine stained occasion dresses and dampened old typewriter ink on yellowed antiquated office papers.
4. Obscura Hortus From The Dust Returned Perfume Oil - This scent is inspired by a most peculiar family, The Elliotts. The wind and leaves call them to a particular place, a great old house in need of “October wings, autumn breathings, and fiery eyes”, for the homecoming. The perfumer said she had always wanted to create a scent that smelled old and musty, dusty and sweet—like ancient manuscripts or the fraying spine of a book. This is the scent of time passed, of ghosts and bygone ideas and old wooden trunks filled with family heirlooms hiding somewhere in a cobwebbed attic. The scent of  memories, attics and mummy wraps, dusty catacombs and strange happenings. With notes of aged wood, orris, ferns, papery bat wings and ghosts of summer breezes morphing into crisp autumnal ozone.
