Ormonde Jayne Frangipani was launched in 2003, created by the line's owner and founder, Linda Pilkington. Frangipani has large cream petals, plump with tropical fragrance. Frangipani is the heart of this perfume, with interest added by the other notes of linden, green orchid oil, tuberose, vanilla and musk.
From EauMG - "Frangipani is bright but it is never obnoxious. I think of it as a “warm floral” instead of a “tropical floral”. It’s comfortable and sunny versus being humid and hot. I really can’t get over how well this perfume wears on me. I get so many compliments. It’s sheer without being too sheer. Frangipani is a perfume that makes me happy."

From Now Smell This - "The opening is very rich, but the linden and a lovely, true note of lime peel temper the sweetness; it perhaps verges on heady for a few minutes, but it is never cloying. It soon takes on a fresh, green quality, and just a bit of creaminess from the magnolia. The frangipani, jasmine, and tuberose are bright rather than heavy; I cannot make out the rose at all."
From Basenotes - "The more I wear this, the more enormous I find the frangipani note to be...FA does for frangipani what Une Rose by Malle does for rose, it makes it incredibly huge. I'm tempted to say that if you like the ginormism of Diorissimo, or other white flower soliflores, chances are you will like this."

Very special. I do not associate with Frangipani smell. My girlfriend make me EDT based om pure essential oil and it has a pronounced flavor. Parfum for "femme fatale".

Beautiful Frangipani scent. Not overpowering. Starts off very potent, but settles down after a few minutes into a lovely floral.
