Ormonde Jayne Tsarina was launched in 2012, created by Geza Schoen in collaboration with the line's owner and founder, Linda Pilkington. Part of the Four Corners of the Earth collection, it is inspired by different flora in the parts of the world Pilkington has visited.
Inspired by the opulence of Russian Romanov Tsarina, this fragrance requires statement jewelry, leather, silks and furs. Tsarina has notes of bergamot, coriander, cassis, hedione, freesia, jasmine sambac, iris, suede, sandalwood, cedarwood, vanilla bean, labdanum and musk.
Ormonde Jayne Tsarina is an eau de parfum, edp.
From Fragrantica - "Up close, Tsarina is like a luxury suede handbag that permanently smells like the wearer's signature fragrance from months and years of spraying herself and wearing the bag... It smells even better from a distance. The suede recedes a bit & the vanilla and Iris is impeccable from a distance.."
From Kafkaesque - "I’m afraid my heart still belongs to Tolu, though I have to admit that there is something about Tsarina’s plush, velvety softness that is quite alluring. Its cool elegance is comfortable and easy, like the best pashmina cashmere scarf or the richest suede caressing your skin. I know a number of my regular readers are complete fiends for soft, harmonious iris scents and, to them, I say, I think this will knock your socks off!"
