Orto Parisi Seminalis is built around bourgeonal, an aromatic aldehyde with a lily of the valley scent, which a scientific study showed helps sperm locate the ovum. Alessandro Gualtieri calls it the scent of life, and it is the most primal fragrance in the Orto Parisi line, milky in both color and scent. Notes include lactone, carnation, lily of the valley, raspberry, cedar, leather, patchouli, sandalwood, sugar and vanilla. Fragrantica - For me, this is easily one of the most beautiful fragrances to wear during autumn days. It starts clean, woody and slightly aldehydic, but there is also something fizzy, vibrant and softly lactonic about it. What I love most is how much it changes while I wear it: now it feels clean and bright, a few hours later the creamy, milky side becomes much clearer, and later on I start getting that beautiful cedar-like woody feeling. A real chameleon on skin. And the performance on me is crazy, I can still smell it easily after 12 hours. Whatever you think about the concept, the fragrance itself is incredible.

Fragrantica - On the first spray, I got a very metallic smell. The friends with me didn't like it at first either. I continued trying other fragrances, and about five to ten minutes later, I smelled it again. It had started to turn milky and creamy, with the metallic opening gradually fading. Fragrantica - This one is like Stercus where, for all it's thematic raunchiness, what you actually get is a very wearable and pleasant fragrance. In the air it conveys the color of the cap and liquid very well, it's basically like a big, milky white cloud, creamy and sweet and almondy without necessarily straying all the way into gourmand territory. If you smell it straight off skin, that's where you can pick up on some of the "bodily" element, but it's a very polite, fresh salty sweat on clean skin kind of thing, maybe the least offensive portrayal of a bodily smell I've ever encountered."
