Parfums de Marly Oriana was released in fall 2021, created by Nathalie Lorson and Hamid Merati-Kashani. The design was a texture variation, a "mille-feuille of flaky sweetness, softness and sensuality." That sounds about right, it is playful and fun, warm and a fun kind of flirty. It is a lush floral fruity gourmand with notes of mandarin orange, bergamot, grapefruit, orange blossom, raspberry, black currant, marshmallow, Chantilly cream, musk and ambrette (musk mallow)
The Candy Perfume Boy - "So what’s the verdict? I like it. People are going to draw comparisons with Kilian’s Love (Don’t be Shy) and they won’t be wrong, both Oriana and Love share that ‘marshmallows soaked in orange blossom syrup’ vibe, but Oriana lacks the rose note and places more focus on the fruit and citrus notes. Somehow it feels more decadent but also fresher than Love, perhaps because it strikes a different balance. Oriana is created in the same vein as Delina (a floral gourmand) but it feels bolder, with bigger brush strokes and a more audacious, riotous feel. It’s a heck of a lot of fun."
Fragrantica - " just sprayed it on my wrists and it’s so beautiful!!! Yes the opening reminds me of love don’t be shy but better to me (LDBS never worked on my skin sadly) and in the dry down it is so creamy and marshmallowy but it kind of changes... once creamy and then musky with these beautiful orange blossoms in the background. Very fine, truly lovely."
Fragrantica - "fruity pebbles, marshmallows, & it has a beautiful clean undertone reminiscent of a fabric softener (i think it’s the combo of citrus & musk). That might sound extremely weird, but it is truly beautiful lol. it’s fruity, fresh, feminine, & creamy!"
Fragrantica - "Very pretty, girly scent. It smells very much like berries chantilly. Heavy on the whipped cream. I could honestly eat it."
