It's a basic "fancy soap" type of smell, the same category that I'd put Louis Vuitton Imagination into. But the execution is just superb. It's blended so well, like pretty much all the Marly fragrances it LASTS. Having not really liked Greenley or Percival enough to purchase either of them, I didn't expect much from Sedley but wow was I wrong, this stuff is top teir if you know what you're getting. If you expect this to be some really complex "interesting" scent you'll be sadly disappointed but if you want something that's overall basic and mass appealing while just having "something about it seem slightly different" that makes it smell unique to the average person, this is what you want. If you have Louis Vuitton Imagination and you love it, this is a safe blind buy. Otherwise, you may find yourself disappointed by shelling out this amount of money for a "basic soap smell""
