Amazing.
Very fresh, and long lasting. Gorgeous floral notes without being overwhelming, yet still masculine.
Prada L'Homme Intense was released in 2016, a richer version of Prada L'homme. Created by Daniela (Roche) Andrier, it has notes of iris, amber, leather, patchouli, tonka bean. This is a gorgeous iris, and it's definitely for men, but it is really elegant to wear for women as well.
From Fragrantica - "This has to be the most niche like designer fragrance that exists. Just one spray is enough to envelope you in a gorgeous powdery scent bubble with excellent projection and sillage. This is the very definition of class and, I think, better suited for mature users in formal situations."
From Basenotes - "A wistful iris note dominates the opening, accompanied by a patchouli note that is unrivaled in designer perfumery. The lipstick-like iris sticks around for the duration of wear - just in the background - and balances the patchouli in a way that avoids resemblance to incense or cheap soap. I appreciate how the iris stays for the duration of wear, unlike Dior Homme (the promising iris opening seems to evaporate within an hour). Amber and leather warm the scent fantastically and make Prada L'Homme Intense a wonderful choice for fall or winter."

Not a bad scent. It really departs from l'Homme and l'Homme l'Eau which are very light and clean fragrances (l'Homme being perfect for spring and l'Eau a solid summer choice). This would seem to be the fall/winter flanker but it feels a little too cloying with the tonka bean. If the others were crisp white shirts to wear in the spring/summer this is a heavy flannel blanket. The iris is familiar with the rest of the line. but when it comes down to iris-based fragrances there are better ones to chose form (Dior Homme line comes to mind) as well as other winter fragrances for colder climates. If you like iris or the other Prada l'Homme fragrances give this one a try.
