Prada Luna Rossa Carbon was released in 2017, created by Daniela (Roche) Andrier. It is an aromatic fougere with notes of bergamot, pepper, lavender, metallic notes, coal, water notes, soil, ambroxan and patchouli.
Fragrantica - "You can use it for anything. Casual day, formal, date, work, night out, wedding, get together with family, part and so on. It's extremely versatile and in my opinion, a safe blind buy. You won't be offending anyone with Carbon. It's forward with Lavender, watery notes and coal; given it a dark but smooth touch."
Fragrantica - "Clean and soapy (in a very good way), which Prada is known for. Smells bright and metallic fresh. The lavender helps smooth this out and adds to the soapy clean vibe. Compared to Sauvage, it's fresher and smoother, has none of the dirty smell, and doesn't remind me of sunscreen. I personally like it better than Sauvage."
Fragrantica - "Sauvage is a fierce, “center of attention” power source of a fragrance that exudes its namesake and declares “here I am” to everyone within shouting distance. It garners attention and solicits commentary, favorable and unfavorable. Up close it pierces and cuts unapologetically with brute strength saying take me as I am or leave me.
Carbon, on the other hand, wafts more gently in space and with a non aggressive demeanor. It exudes a quiet, sexiness that invites those who smell it to want to investigate it. It rewards the recipient with a smooth, soapy, but very seductive scent that magnetically says 'come on in very close, this will get even better.' Personally, I like them both for what they are, the same and yet different."
