From 1972-1976, Coty released their Sweet Earth line of soft mists, perfume essences, oils and solid compacts and their Sweet Earth Country Road collection of colognes in ceramic jugs. The Sweet Earth fragrances were "fragrances natures wears herself". It was a collection of fragrances inspired by flowers, grasses, woods, rare flowers and herbs.
Mountain Ledge Flowers is a delicate, subtle bouquet of the rarest, most precious flowers that give their sweetness to the mountain air.
A newspaper advertisement read:
Only Sweet Earth could capture the unforgettable scents that happen in magical winter places. Delicate Mountain Ledge Flowers blooming on sky-high rocky peaks. Clear, cool Alpine Breezes blowing on steep, snowy mountains. And the deep, lush richness of Sun-warmed Woods. The fragrances of winter. Naturally, from Sweet Earth.
The Sweet Earth perfume line was discontinued in 1980.
This is the original cologne version of the fragrance.
