Jovan Musk Oil Cologne has been discontinued. Jovan Musk is still available for purchase but it is now distributed by Coty and has been reformulated and is available as Men's and Women's.

Yes, over time, Jovan Musk Oil has grown sharp and “cheap”, with the worst tinge of pencil shavings my nostrils have experienced, and it was gone. Then I tied the Kiel’s version and was taken back, only I didn’t buy a bottle at the time of store testing, due to finding its formula had too, become watered down. Shame. Jovan ruled.
Does not smell the way it did. The very distinct smell that set this perfume apart from the rest is just not captured. Not in this one, nor in the Jovan Musk perfume that was recreated by Coty.
