Lectric Shave got it’s start in 1929 as an alcohol based mouthwash for men distributed by the Williams company. Williams Lectric Shave was promoted to provide a closer, smoother, easy shave and was created as a before shave product because of electric razors. It contained enough alcohol to close the facial pores and lift the whiskers away from the skin plus it had isopropyl myristate for some lubrication. It is a mild, masculine, traditional scent but I could find no listing of notes.
