Sandy Beach/Shore Sampler - Set of Four 1/2ml Samples

A shore is the dynamic margin of land where it meets a large body of water, such as an ocean, sea or lake. Shores vary drastically in their geological makeup falling mainly into sandy shores, rocky shores and marshes and estuaries. In perfumery, the beach and shore cover a wide range of notes because of the wide variety of shoreland – rugged, peaceful, ocean, lake, etc. The notes used to describe a shore are typically grouped into marine, aquatic and salty accords. They recreate the atmosphere of the coast using a blend of ozonic, mineral and botanical notes that evoke sea spray, driftwood, wet sand, seaweed and fresh coastal air. An example of notes would be Calone (a synthetic molecule that gives a watery, transparent and slightly melon-like freshness), sea salt, seaweed absolute, sea fennel, oakmoss, sun-warmed sands, dune grasses and driftwood. Beach notes in fragrances include sand, saltwater, coconut, rum, citrus and vanilla.

You will receive a 1/2ml sample (1ml sample vial filled half full) of each of the fragrances in this sampler.

1. Calyx Driftwinds Perfume Oil - A beach and sand fragrance of shifting air and restless earth. Bergamot opens with a dry brightness, giving way to the warm, mineral echo of sun-warmed stone and salt. Driftwood and dried seaweed form the grounding heart — woody, briny, smoky, yet not fishy, not the ocean, but the quiet residue of tides long past. At its edges, a trace of choya nakh drifts like scorched seashells and salt, haunting but restrained. Neither rooted nor fleeting, Driftwinds is unclaimed, unbound — a scent of motion, balance, and horizon. It features notes of sandalwood, choya nakh, vetiver and bergamot.
2. Red River Apothecary Hatteras Perfume Oil - A summer storm on the beach with notes of seaweed accord, clean salt accord and gentle rain on white sand.
3. Siren Song Elixirs Nocturne #6 Perfume Oil – A clean musk, skin scent that features a beautiful blend of sea salt, cypress, driftwood, Pacific rock moss, white sand, red flame mimosa, grapefruit, thunderstorms, tonka and blue musk accord.
4. Sucreabeille Weirdling EDP - Strolling the beach at midnight, dancing between the bonfires as the sea grass rustles in low tidal winds, all blending with the scent of expensive vanilla.
