Description

Serge Lutens Fille en Aiguilles is inspired by pine needles, surrounded by resins and sap, cool earth, sunshine and some of Serge's candied fruits and spices that like to live in a lot of Serge Lutens fragrances. Your best day meandering around a forest. Fille en Aiguilles is in the Oriental Woody fragrance group.

Reviews of Serge Lutens Fille en Aiguilles from noses that may or may not sniff like your nose.

from iscentyouaday - "Fille en Aiguilles is spice, sophistication and balsam-y incense.  It’s totally unisex. If you were a man I would sniff you to levels that are incompatible with being a happily married woman."

from Kafkaesque - "Fille en Aiguilles, perhaps the best pine forest fragrance that I’ve ever smelled — and I’m not one who normally enjoys that note. But what an utterly joyful scent! The best of winter forests combined with the mysterious sweetness of Christmas treats, happy festivities, and excited anticipation. Pine is an extremely difficult scent to pull off in perfumery, as it can easily and quickly lend itself to the aroma of Pine-Sol household disinfectant, cheap car air-fresheners, or unpleasant medicine. I’ve dismissed more than a few extremely expensive, pine-centered fragrances for being over-priced air fresheners, or for evoking Glade plug-ins that I don’t want anywhere near my person. But Fille en Aiguilles is different, and it’s all thanks to the mad wizardry that is the inspired combination of Serge Lutens and the brilliant Christopher Sheldrake."

from perfumeposse - "My mind is unchanged from 2010 – ” just-cleaned-after-a-Friday-night truckstop bathroom, and not in a good way.”  March loved it as did everyone else in the world, so ignore me on this.  Pine needles, vetiver, sugary sap, laurel, fir balsam, frankincense, candied fruit and spice.  This is the one Serge where I stand completely alone in the “hate it” camp against the entire Perfume Blogging World."
