First Flush captures the essence of blush pink and pale apricot antique and modern garden roses cloaked in the morning fog. A fruity opening featuring traces of watermelon, raspberry, lemon and apricot quickly gives way to fresh, bright rose petals dotted with dew. Like the first flush of a rosarium in spring, this perfume opens strongly at initial application. It settles to a moderate strength and more intimate experience due to the strong focus on natural materials in this blend. First Flush is a mixed media rose soliflore that contains a variety of precious natural rose essences from around the world, including an exceptional Iranian rose otto. With notes of blush pink and apricot roses, watermelon, lemon, raspberry, apricot, morning dew, hints of green and wet earth. It is an eau de parfum, edp.

Reddit: First Flush is a fresh, tangy, summery rose scent. It's not a dry, powdery potpourri rose, but it's also not a jammy, foody rose. It has a delicate sweetness but is more of a fresh scent. The floral elements are far more prominent than the fruity ones, though the lemon is pretty obvious when its first applied. The "earth" note is similar to the one in Devil's Millhopper, clean and damp like a forest clearing in early spring, but much more subtle. It's not as sweet as I would have expected with all those fruity notes, which add more tartness than sweetness to this natural, dewy garden rose. Fresh, bright, airy, rose-forward scent. After leaving it alone (not constantly sniffing) for a little while, First Flush really feels like daytime/summer's answer to O Rose, which seems more evening/winter due to its more traditional notes and resins/spiciness. All the other notes in this scent serve to support the rose note, it almost smells like the Ren Pure rose scented shampoos/hair products.
