SORCELLERIE A BUMP IN THE NIGHT REVIEWS
eddit: Oh, I find this to be a very complex and superb perfume, HOWEVER: This is definitely a cold-weather perfume. I can see this becoming overly cloying (because of the mascarpone cream and honey, not because of the strawberries) during humid and summery weather. A little also goes a long way, so use this perfume with caution when applying. This has 5/10 of smoky notes in this. Normally I amp a LOT of wood, but somehow the burning leaves doesn't overpower anything and pairs wonderfully with the jammy strawberry and royal jelly-like honey note. However, I've spoken to people who have confirmed that Bump in the Night smelled like barbecue on their skin chemistry--so do keep that smoke note in mind when you order. Thirdly, the strawberry and mascarpone dont' show up much. I do get delicious strawberries for the first 10 minutes, but it fades very quickly and I'm left smelling like smokey honey for most of the day. I do love this scent (and was glad to find a perfume that doesn't make me smell like plasticky, synthetic strawberries) but I already had smokey honey perfumes, hence why I didn't buy a full size of Bump in the Night. So if you ever get a FOMO, do keep in mind that there's plenty of smoked honey perfumes out here.
