STEPHANE HUMBERT LUCAS UNE NUIT A DOHA REVIEWS

Fragrantica: "For some absolutely crazy reason; one of the most overlooked SHL's. Amazing, simply put. The immortelle and the tobacco in this is the ultimate love story. Get this."

Fragrantica: "Sweet, candied tobacco overtone. Herbal heart. Vanillac halo. Zesty nuance. Quality blend."

Fragrantica: "It’s honeyed tobacco but nothing close to Naxos or Tobacco Vanille. It goes in a very different direction, herbal. You won’t experience anything similar to it. It’s also slightly sparkly, I think it’s the orange and ginger. Wore it on/off thruout the year and I love it."

Fragrantica: "Unusual, sweet, unique. It belongs in my collection simply for this reason. Honeyed tobacco, a dry golden burley in a meadow of medicinal herbs. Has a bit of a chamomile tea accord when it warms up on me. Relaxing aroma but very classy. A high end spa scent."

Fragrantica: "It's a YES for me! This smells so good - and sweet - and unusual... and I can appreciate that! This makes me think of raisins outnumbered by a bowl of rich, deep, viscous, abnormally concentrated honey. I don't get too much distinction in b/w what the fragrance pyramid shows, versus how this actually wears on me - it's 90% linear. The only exception is around the 10-20 minute mark, I get a glimpse of tangerine rind dancing around. If you are sampling this, I recommend doing so on skin b/c paper is going to eat this fragrance up."

Fragrantica: "The wonderful mandarin opening is soon joined by tobacco, immortelle, fennel and a bit after vanilla. Altogether it is nearly unique mix that forms a whole that is smooth, opulent and represents an effort to mix French luxury with a bit of Middle Eastern flair. There are not many fragrances that can pull this off, but this one does. It has moderate silage and good to strong longevity. It's unisex and can be worn year round. If you want to treat yourself to a wonderful fragrance that will make. You stand out then this should be one you want to try."

Fragrantica: "A fruity herbal opening by fennel and dried fruits followed by ginger giving a slight spicy aspect; soon after, a wonderful and sweet immortelle flower arrives hand in hand with a delicious vanilla that will remain together throughout the duration of the fragrance; From the middle to drying comes a dry and subtle tobacco giving a slight toasted aspect to the perfume. Inspired by the contrast of the arrival of night in Doha, Qatar, which with the cooling of the desert heat and the sea breeze create an enchanting fragrance with a soft trail and the sensation of an aromatic Shisha (hookah) very common in cafes and tobacconists in the Middle East. A sweet but not cloying semi gourmand, very balanced. A perfume of dualities: it is calm, soft, luminous, fresh and at the same time spicy, warm, dark and smoky; A refined and sophisticated fragrance. Excellent creation by Stephane Humbert Lucas for mid-season and that goes very well in the late afternoon."

Fragrantica: "I find this fragrance totally hypnotic. It opens with a fruity scent with the undertone of tabac in a very subtle way. It then reveals the Corsican Immortelle with that background of tabac holding on quietly warm and sexy on the skin. As it dries down the Vanilla toned down by the Vetiver emerges to hold it all together. You can smell all the layers together on the skin. I think this is a masterpiece of a fragrance. It has to be tried to see if it goes with your body chemistry. If it does, you will be amazed."

Fragrantica: "This is exactly the smell of Shisha tobacco. This is the second fragrance I've tried with a prominent immortelle and I think I love this note. It's has this butterscotch caramel addictive quality about it."

Fragrantica: "The scent genuinely conveys the atmosphere of walking around Pearl Qatar or, to be more exact, strolling through Souq Waqif traditional market in Doha! It is the scent of a middle-eastern traditional cafe with the smell of hookah, some that have just been lit whilst others are puffing out smog, and some cigarette smoke as well. No other fragrance could be more truthful in the attempt to portray that atmosphere! A work of art by a creative artist, 10/10"
