One of the best designer fragrances out there. Bitter Petitgrain, vetiver, citrus and lots of clean musk. Very clean out of the shower smell without being boring or smelling like any recognizable soap.
Thierry Mugler Cologne was released in 2001, created by Alberto Morillas and has become a classic in the soapy fresh fragrance area. Thierry Mugler Cologne gives you that just out of the shower freshness and features notes of bergamot, neroli, petit grain, orange blossom, green sap and white musk. It falls in the citrus aromatic category and is considered unisex.
From the brand - "In creating Mugler Cologne, Thierry Mugler tried to copy the scent of an ordinary soap he brought from Morocco, which he liked very much. The fragrance was created by Alberto Morillas in 2001. The composition starts off with sharp and clear green and citrus notes, followed by a soapy accord. Hence, this fragrance is an extremely fresh scent of cleanliness. Top notes are bergamot, neroli and petit grain. There is a mysterious “S” note at the heart – a molecule kept in secret. The base is formed of white musk."
Fragrantica - "Love this stuff and have nearly finished my 300ml bottle. This is so clean and fresh and one of those pick me up type of scents."
Fragrantica - "This smells like that euphoric feeling at the beginning of warm spring days. It smells like late 90s/early 2000s optimism and futurism of y2k. It smells like frutiger aero. Simple, yet unique in its own way, and something very special."
Fragrantica - "One of my favorites from the Mugler line of scents. Very nice spring / summer scent for men or women. Citrus and zesty to start with a minimal musk dry down. A true skin scent within a hour or two depending on the temperature. Worth a buy for the price. A quality scent. Enjoy!"

I read so many wonderful reviews and anxiously awaited my sample of Mugler Cologne in the mail. The fragrance is horrible and smells like body odor to me during the dry down. Come to think of it, I did come across one or two reviews online that mentioned this. Perhaps it's just my body chemistry not reacting well with this cologne. I MUCH preferred the classic Dior Eau Sauvage instead. These samples from Surrender To Chance come in so handy! Thank goodness I didn't buy a full bottle of Mugler Cologne on a blind buy.
