Toskovat Age of Innocence was released in 2022. Created by David-Lev Jipa-Slivinschi, an "experience" fragrance with unique notes of bubble gum, cotton candy, strawberry, gasoline, rubber, metallic notes, rose, agarwood (oud), cedar, vetiver and cade oil
From the brand -
"Today I remembered cycles. I saw children on their bicycles near cars rushing by. Exhaust blowing on cotton candy. Funny circus, absurd circle. It reminds me of knowing sweetness when I was their age. Strawberry jam and raspberry yoghurt. It was all so good but I couldn’t know it. Then this metallic screech interrupted it all. The abrupt brake on youth. Hot, torn rubber marked so all could see. Born out of petrol on a back seat. I was all so fast and loud, and the car couldn’t reverse again. Now I’m parked in a hospital. Hope they have something sweet in store for me."
Fragrantica - "It really does well at evoking childhood. Candyfloss and artificial strawberries smell like candy and innocence. The gasoline and burnt rubber are there, creeping and uneasy in the background like childhood trauma. This is art. Wearable art - and its blended beautifully. It works surprisingly well but it won't be for everyone. Let it be said though, after an hour or so the gasoline fades and the scent of candy remains, particularly the strawberry seemed to linger longest on my skin. This isn't the type of perfume I usually gravitate towards due to wearing pink sugar in high school (hence finding "pink gourmand" perfumes juvenile) But I am VERY impressed."
Fragrantica - "this is an oddly wearable fragrance. the fairy floss comes in quiet heavily in the beginning (which i personally adore) but with just a hint of gasoline and wood, but in a very subtle and balanced way. i reminds me of a summer night in my country. i didn’t expect to love this, but here we are. i wouldn’t recommend blind buying, though, just in case."
Fragrantica - "Jumping for joy rn... I did not expect the metallic smell to compliment the bubblegum in such an airy, wonderful way. After smelling the disastrous Sui Genesis, I was very scared of trying this but I actually love it. She's so rugged yet sweet that it’s almost perfect, but there is an underlying synthetic note that I noticed in Annacamento as well which I don’t think is purposeful. Overall a very complex, non-traditional gourmand. The Gasoline part reminds me of Dead Dinosaur by Snif where it’s very floral to compliment the sharpness of the gas. "
Fragrantica - "Weird but it works. The opening you just get hit with a bunch of sweetness, then the oud,gas and rubber comes in. Its very balanced literally 50/50. One side doesnt overpower the other. Weird but very wearable"
Fragrantica - "Opened the bottle and it immediately smelled like cotton candy and bubblegum. Put it on my wrist and it started smelling literally like a car crash. This is evoking a strange emotion. Still somehow seems pretty wearable overall."
