Van Cleef & Arpels First is a floral aldehyde scent. Created in 1976 by Jean-Claude Ellena, Van Cleef & Arpels First has notes of peach, jasmine, lily of the valley, tuberose, vetiver and oak moss. A stunning floral created by one of the great perfumers. This is the eau de toilette, EDT.
Fragrantica: "To balance the oomph, there are green, floral, woody and animal blends. There are superb aldehydes on top with the delicious flowers in heart and oakmoss and animal civet notes in dry down with the sandalwood and vetiver. This is not just beautiful but also a bold creation that is absolutely gem. This is a must have in perfume collection for sure!!"
Fragrantica: "This is majestic and regal. Trustworthy. Confident. This perfume shows leadership and maturity. Someone who is grounded enough to be graceful and elegant even under pressure. Someone who is cool headed, but with a warmth that allows you to know that they really "Care"."
