Gorgeous
I bought several vintage Coty fragrances some time ago and have sampled most of them at least twice. This is by far my favorite of the bunch (the second being Chypre). I adore spicy carnation and this is a glorious carnation! Several of the vintage samples I purchased were sadly lacking in sillage/longevity, top-notes were weak or absent (which I understand, as these were, after all, vintage samples of some antiquity). But this Oiellet! I have debated spending a ludicrous amount of money on a 5 ml sample of it--it is that good. It is spicy, rich and creamy all at once, has very good longevity, decent sillage--something you can wear without overpowering people in a room. It makes me sad that Coty is, these days, known mainly as a drugstore brand, because the company has a huge place in the history of fine fragrances. Vintage Emeraude is exquisite. This vintage carnation perfume by Coty is a grown-up scent, full-bodied, sweet and spicy and never insipid or bland. Beautiful.
