Worth Je Reviens created in 1932 by Maurice Blanchet. Top notes of aldehydes, orange blossom, jasmine, ylang-ylang, bergamot and lemon; middle notes are narcissus, lilac, orris root, hyacinth, cloves, ylang-ylang, rose and narcissus; base notes are sandalwood, tonka bean, amber, musk, violet, oakmoss, vetiver and incense. Timeless and classic. This is the VINTAGE EDC, eau de cologne.
First encountered this scent nearly 50 years ago and was intrigued by its faint scent of mothballs. (Yes, and other reviewers have mentioned this.) I never thought it suited me, though, but this spring I bought it to lift my pandemic-weary spirits. Je Reviens is as lovely as ever, ethereal and woody. I'm wearing it every day.
