Mist and Moonlight is swirling tendrils of sheer vanilla meeting notes of white amber, benzoin, aged cedarwood, roasted tonka beans, pink peppercorn and moonlit musk. A gorgeous dry vanilla fragrance. It is a perfume.
All Wylde Ivy products are crafted in small artisan batches by hand and are paraban, phthalate and cruelty free.
Reddit: First impressions: Very dry, sharp, woody, non gourmand vanilla While wearing: Not as dry or sharp as first impression. It's pretty smooth and warm. But it's very autumn forward. It feels wrong wearing it in February. Which is weird because none of the notes seem particularly fall-y. Getting a lot of spices but there's really not much in the notes that tell me what it could be. It doesn't seem like peppercorn but maybe. I will definitely reach for it again when I’m ready to be fall-y again. And I bet I will like it even more. Throw is moderate and longevity is moderate. Overall 4/5.
Redolent Mermaid: If Stone Circle is forlornly beautiful then Mist and Moonlight is sweetly haunting. The vanilla and resinous amber are made gauzy through the lifting effects of the pink peppercorn and airy cedarwood. Cottony sweet clouds of vanilla trail along the skin light-footed and sylphlike. This is a brilliant floaty vanilla scent to wear during fall and winter when delicate and gossamer things can be appreciated all the more: snowflakes, chilled breaths, and mist in the moonlight. This is easily my favorite collection from Wylde Ivy yet. They are all extremely beautiful scents and evocative of that bridge from fall to winter in their own special way. I look forward to wearing them often.
Wylde Ivy: Absolutely one of the best scents ever! I got this as a sample and it was so lovely I bought a bottle.
