Xerjoff Cruz del Sur II is part of the Shooting Stars collection and was launched in 2017. Inspired by the mystery of the untouched tribes of South American's jungles, it takes you deep into a mango grove. Mango is a tough note to get right, but Cruz del Sur II does exactly that. Basenotes - "An extraordinary blast of mango and pineapple with a pinch of apple drying later to vanilla base. It's THE best summer frag I ever have tried with silage and longevity. A true masterpiece"
Fragrantica - "Absolutely stunning tropical scent. Green mangoes and guava in a milkshake. Very lightly floral from the Apple blossoms. projection isn't super strong but longevity is very very solid."
Fragrantica - "A unique take on a tropical floral+gourmand. This is simultaneously light and heavy like white chocolate, not that it smells entirely like white chocolate but a similar airy-heaviness. What sits at the front is an ambiguous tropical white-yellow floral accord that has aspects of jasmine, gardenia, tuberose, frangipani, a touch of honeysuckle and ylang ylang. Right under it is a sweet but also rind-y mango with a green aspect that's complimented by violet leaf and black currant, and a rich vanilla milk base. Slowly the fruit+floral takes a backseat behind the vanilla milk in the drydown with a clean woody-musk undertone. It's a very calm, endearing scent, like laying in a bed of flowers under a temperate sunset. Moderate longevity, but a little still goes a long way. "

Ok ok, I am likely bias, because this brings me to my ancestral Pinoy-Rican roots. This is so unique to my collection; so different from say Keep Glazed or Mango Skin (both of which I adore). I cannot stop sniffing myself when I wear this. Gorgeous."
Luckyscent - "This is absolutely beautiful! It almost brings tears to my eyes when I smell this fragrance. It has the most realistic beautiful Mango and Pineapple opening ever, along with this cold creamy milky note. This fragrance will make you smile when you smell it. This with out a doubt is a "natural" gourmand mango smoothie. The longevity is amazing, lasting 8+ hours on my skin. A true masterpiece and I need it in my collection ASAP."
