Cinnamon exalts spicier notes, complemented by gentle rose at the heart. The woody base of papyrus and patchouli leaves the senses longing for more in a rhythmic exchange of back and forth. Parfumo: Just buy it, the apple and cinnamon intro to this fragrance is sooooo enjoyable (if you are into fruity fragrances that is), I was thinking it was cherry till I looked at the notes... The leather comes in later on, but its a nice escape from the standard Monkey Special Iommi. I'd have loved to get the special edition signed version, but 650 smackers, seemed a bit too much for me & it was already sold out. This will rock in the summer.
Parfumo: The fragrance opens with a beautiful apple note, accompanied by saffron and cinnamon, whereby the apple-saffron combo is more noticeable! I like the combo extremely well and it's damn well executed. - This is followed by a light leathery note; that's right, no dark leather, somehow fresh, probably underpinned by the apple and slowly rounds off the opening towards a slightly earthy-sweet drydown, where patchouli and musk are the main protagonists. Here, too, the Deified Tony Iommi is worthy of the "Tony Iommi" basic idea of a complex fragrance and you can really notice a great development and transformation; from the initial fruity-spicy opening to a leathery-earthy-sweet drydown! All phases in the fragrance are very harmoniously coordinated and yes, this Iommi is generally more tolerable, more suitable for everyday use and far more pleasant! The performance is also top here, the durability is brilliant and the projection in the first few hours leaves nothing to be desired! Overall, a great reinterpretation of the fragrance; the Deified Tony Iommi is fruitier, fresher and lighter, but retains a certain dark character due to the leather and patchouli that are still present. Top!
Fragrantica: This is the best blind purchase I made, very luxurious. It opens a wonderful blend. I loved it more than the first version, because I can't imagine my smell looks like a cumin. For the excellent performance. Once I open the bottle cap, the fragrance begins to spread the smell of elegant night dating.

Fragrantica: I am a woman and I love wearing this. Edgy, sexy, mysterious- for the strong woman that is still fresh and feminine but can handle herself. This is a very good fragrance and I can’t believe how the sillage travels. So good! All the ladies that want a dynamic fragrance need to sample this one. The leather is not masculine. It is just sexy blended with the saffron, rose and apple. If you like the leather in Venom Incarnate, try this. It simply uses apples and cinnomam instead of strawberry.
Fragrantica: Love this fragrance this is what a heavy metal fragrance should smell like dark and heavy. Amazing smell one downside is limited occasions to wear it - rock concerts wearing leather jacket are the perfect venue.
Fragrantica: Definitely the best Tony Iommi by far. This will get you compliments, monkey special will not. That dirty patchouli is toned down (thank god) and they added Saffron which gives it a nother dimension. Appel, rose and cinnamon gives that luxurious feeling, it's blended to perfection.
Fragrantica: I looooove it!!! It is masculine, dark, gothic, with nuances of a black rose and leather. The sweetness of the Saffron, Apple and Cinnamon gives this frag a uniqueness so pronounced that, besides the comparisons I just did with Bull's Blood and Slow Explosions, it's a unique animal. I keep calling it an animal; and I do because that's how it performs. Do recommend it.
Fragrantica: Hot like desert heat on sand. Prominent papyrus, leather and cinnamon. A dry cinnamon, not sweet. I imagine an Egyptian Pharoah would smell like this, or the inside of an opulent tomb in which is buried secrets of ancient middle eastern mysticism. This is the first Xerjoff I've ever tried and so far, it's made a hell of an impression. This is art. The bottle is gorgeous as well.
Libertine Parfumerie: Insane strength and performance with a scent that keeps developing over hours so you can enjoy every step of the journey that begins with a powerful new car leather scent. After a couple of months macerating Deified got even better than it’s already positive first impression. Much more masculine than monkey special but you can smell they are related though very distinct in their own rights.
cafleurbon: Tony Iommi Deified transforms the original composition by introducing darker and more mysterious elements! Saffron enriches the blend with its exotic spicy flavor while a leather accord in the base establishes a layer of mystery. Cinnamon is interwoven in the mix for a spicy element that is as addictive as it is beguiling. Green apple adds a tart and slightly bright introduction before the earthy dry down that gives the wearer hours of longevity on skin.
