Yves Saint Laurent Kouros Body Reviews
Fragrantica - "Although my infatuation with the said guy ended soon after this due to unforeseen circumstances, my infatuation with the fragrance continues ever since and it has become one of my go-to perfumes when I want to feel assertive, clean, neat, and sophisticated. This is the warmest eucalyptus I have ever smelled. Very sweet for a male perfume, but still very clean and masculine. For a guy who is a "black horse".
Fragrantica - "This is a really interesting fragrance. Despite the name, it doesn't remind me of Kouros at all. In fact, it smells like sweet woods (benzoin mixed with cedar) but in a weird, almost alien-ish, yet warm-fresh and inviting. The eucalyptus note is noticeable in the opening and brings the green freshness facet to the fragrance mixed with a chinese incense type of a smell that quickly fades away to the sweet wood thing that will last a good 8h on skin. There's a liccorice kind of a smell mixed in the composition but not so strong as in others like Lolita Lempicka, created also by Annick Ménardo."
Fragrantica - "well, 'Body' proves to me, Yves was not only a fashion God, but he knew what the Hell he was doing on the fragrance stratosphere, as well. 'Body' is an all timer. I dont think there are many, even if they dont prefer this, who will knock this perfume. And it's not because it's too common to knock...nope...it's anything but. First time I smelled it, the barbershop-vibe (which is the smell of that old school, shaving balm that barbers used back in the day) didnt occur to me. What I smelled was a eucalyptus note I knew nothing about...it intrigued me. And hooked me, too."
