Parfums de Nicolai Musc Monoi was released in August 2014 with notes of Neroli, lemon, petitgrain, ylang-ylang, jasmine, coconut, calone, magnolia, sandalwood, and musk. An escape to a tropcial beach. It opens with a burst of citrus and then lets you breath in the sun and the huskiness of sun-warmed skin. Ocean-salted notes and white florals make sure you relax completely into one of the best beach scents out there.
Something about this parfum smells "off" to start. Perhaps the calone note. It smells funky as in damp BO funky not as in George Clinton funky. That lessens within the hour but what remains is a faint jasmine that has utterly disappeared by the end of the day.
