Warranty

All sales are final, we are a perfume sampling company - letting you try perfume before you invest in a bottle. Unfortunately, we cannot refund any product that you do not like. If you are new to perfume or wanting to break out of wearing the same scent, try our starter sampler packs so that you can find the perfume that works for you.

Description

From an incredible line of 100% natural perfumes, this fragrance was created by the highly respected Dominique Dubrana; Composer Perfumer.  Hyraceum is the crystalized and petrified form of Hyrax urine, a small mammal resembling an over-grown guinea-pig and is the closest living relative to elephants. The tincture is obtained by infusing the powdered raw material into pure alcohol for a few weeks. The smell is similar to castoreum but has a distinct urinary note that can be found only in goat hair tincture among perfumery materials.  Its smell is not at all disgusting as one may think, but it could be described as “interesting”, even to unprepared people who are not perfumers.

    Hyraceum

The first thing that happened was my cat started purring and licked it off my wrist. I guess he likes animalic scents. So far what’s left, after drydown, is sweet and resinous. Can’t tell you about longevity or sillage. Hyraceum deposits are used by scientists to figure out environmental conditions of the past. I’m going to find something else that’s animalic, sweet, and resinous. After all, scent is a luxury.
