Description

Akro Malt was launched in 2018, created by Olivier Cresp.  A leather fragrance with notes of whiskey, rum, leather, seaweed and patchouli.  This is an EDP, eau de parfum.

From the brand - "A really good whisky is a sensory experience; it's the bite on your tongue, the warmth in your cheeks, the smoky aroma that releases when it falls over ice. It’s a scent we first became enamoured with when working the pubs and bars of Ladbroke Grove, a scent that will forever be associated with that dangerous ‘tipping point’ in a night; that witching hour and a bit before closing time when the beers become shorts, relaxation becomes hedonism and night edges closer to morning. We just knew we had to bottle if for you."

Akro Malt Reviews

Fragrantica - "Malt is a transportive experience that is offputting at first, but matures into an aura of booze drenched decadence. Very fierce and wild perfume, very bad boy. 10/10"

Fragrantica - "Peaty Scotch cut with some tap water from a beach town and then served at a dive. 10/10"

Fragrantica - "Malt is a truly boozy experience. I’ve been let down by so many claiming to be boozy—Roja, Mugler, even Nasomatto—but Malt is the only one that actually smells like booze. There’s nothing really to compare it to. It’s just a unique experience and dare I say a masterpiece? Olivier has truly pulled off something incredible here. Baraonda is pretty boozy, but Malt is like Baraonda’s bold outspoken cousin. 10/10. If you want something that smells like all manner of liquid courage and sea salt, Malt is the one for you."
