Description

Alkemia Kanu y Med (Song of Mead) was created by Sharra Lamoureaux and is described as "A medieval midsummer revelry of honey mead and summer berry melomel blended in a 16th century sweetwater (perfume) recipe that includes sweet briar, citrus blossom water, balsam benzoin, styrax musk, and Italian bergamot."

From the brand:

May Maelgwn of Mona be affected with mead, and affect us,
From the foaming mead-horns, with the choicest pure liquor,
Which the bees collect, and do not enjoy.
Mead distilled sparkling, its praise is everywhere.

-- From the Book of Taliesin XIX, 550 C.E.

This is the alcohol-free spray. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is a hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.

Alkemia Kanu y Med (Song of Mead) Reviews

Reddit - "A complex, slightly woody, honey-sweetened citrus. Great for: people who have better luck with honey notes, people who don’t usually like gourmands but want to branch out, Ren Faire performers and attendees."

Reddit "Honey-forwards, just like Miel. The difference between the two is pretty slight in my opinion, this one is just a tad fruitier from the berry note. Like Miel, this one is sort of soapy/dusty."
