Alkemia Revel Oil was created by Sharra Lamoureaux and has notes of majoun, gaiac wood, katsura, dirty vanille, nicotania, fruitwood sap, candied ginger, muscenone, aphrodisiac hedione, dark tobacco, bitter cacao, burnt caramel, absinthe blanche.
From the brand:
"A dream of interlinking hands, of feet
Tireless to spin the unseen, fairy woof
Of the entangling waltz.
Bright eyebeams meet,
Gay laughter echoes from the vaulted roof.
Warm perfumes rise; the soft unflickering glow
Of branching lights sets off the changeful charms
Of glancing gems, rich stuffs, the dazzling snow
Of necks unkerchieft, and bare, clinging arms."
-- Emma Lazarus
This is the oil. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is a hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.
Reddit - "wonderfully blended, complex, and evocative of its name without being obvious. It is a gorgeous, smoky, wearable scent. It's strongest on the tobacco/tobacco flower and majoun to me, but it really is beautifully blended and hard to pick apart."
