Description
Metal Wave features a key note of crisp and fresh juniper berry, contrasting with the dry and woody base layer of papyrus wood. Magnolia fuses the two together with its sweet, citrus-honey scent, adding a twinge of sweetness. This beautiful oriental features a top note of juniper berry, a middle note of magnolia and a base note of papyrus wood. Metal Wave is an eau de parfum, edp.
All Saints Metal Wave Reviews
The Candy Perfume Boy: Metal Wave’s contrast is the masculinity of metal and the softness of waves. It is not, as the name may suggest, an aquatic, metallic fragrance. In fact, the most prominent material here is somewhat surprising: it’s vanilla. Metal Wave is a soft, woody take on vanilla that uses the mineral juiciness of juniper to bring a sort of ozonic effect. It smells abstract, pairing a powdery, soft wood with a waxy vanilla that is shrouded in something cool and watery.
Fragrantica: This has a paper/clean linen/ vanilla vibe. It is not gourmand, but more " I'm in an old church with vanilla candles burning". Very, very comforting!
Fragrantica: This had so much potential but the lasting power is ridiculous. Other than that, this is probably one of my favourite scents of all time. The name is so accurate, it honestly smells like a sweet metal in such a beautiful way. If you know London, then this is what Shoreditch would smell like. It smells industrial, with that metallic tang but in a very sweet and soft way which I suppose is from the magnolia. I have to use this as a mixer because it's way too subtle; but my goodness is it delicious.
