Amouage Figment Woman is a tribute to Bhutan. It is a place where ancient traditions are important and success is not judged on power or wealth but on the health and happiness of each citizen and the natural world that surrounds them. Figment is an opulent tuberose and white floral fragrance blended with a bit of spice and woods.
Figment Woman features top notes of Sichaun pepper, saffron and gardenia; middle notes of tuberose, jasmine sambac, orange blossom, lisylang (a destillation of ylang-ylang by Robertet described as "very pure and clean white flowers bouquets with jasmine, monöi and frangipani undertones with spicy lily and gourmand coconut milk aspects") and cassia; and base notes of orris, papyrus, patchouli and incense.
Now Smell This - "To me, Figment takes gardenia and tuberose, and instead of giving them the full-on Elizabeth-Taylor-in-an-island-garden treatment, eases out the flowers’ scent components, polishes them up, then reassembles them in a different way. So, rather than smelling the textbook tuberose-gardenia combo, you smell the snap of green beans, a waft of euculyptus, and an earthy, almost intimate, truffled note. Yet, it still smells like white flowers — but through the back door."
