Description

Amouage Gold Woman is the signature scent for Amouage. The classic French Perfumer, Guy Robert, was hired to design this scent using classic Arabic perfumer materials with a classic French twist. Amouage Gold Woman can be daunting - it is impossibly elegant and rich-smelling, and you feel like you need a Bentley and a chauffeur to be able to wear it.  You don't.  It smells rich because of the luxury raw materials that go in, but it becomes soft and beautiful, and you don't need any of those signs of wealth because this scent will make you feel like you could have all of those things, maybe for a few hours, and then you can put down the mental champagne glass and go back to your normal life.

    Not for me..

I would classify this scent as being too old European. I like Caleche a lot more as it has some life to it and is brighter. Maybe it was the sample I had, but it the scent, Amouage Gold, had no richness that I could detect. For a rich smell, I go to Sisley's, Soir de Lune. That one is rich and has great sillage.

    Extraordinary!!

The name says it all...GOLD! This is liquid gold for sure. It is soft and alluring. One smell and you know serious money was spent on these ingredients! Complex, spicy, and slightly floral. The scent is very long lasting. Every whiff will leave you wanting more!
