Amouage Jubilation 40 Man is the extrait version of the much loved Amouage Jubilation XVV for men and has become a cult favorite, as many of the extraits have become. Released in 2023 and created by Bertrand Duchaufour - who created the original - he focused on certain aspects of the original. Notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, rosemary, labdanum, orange, davana, broom, frankincense, cinnamon, clove, bay, rose, celery seed, patchouli, cistus, opoponax, myrrh, cedarwood, guaiac wood, musk, moss, orientalgris, and oud. Amouage Jubilation 40 Man has 40% pure perfume oils.
From the brand - "Sumptuous, extravagant and profound, Jubilation XXV celebrates the nobility of masculinity that embraces the beauty of both East and West. Following 10 weeks of patient ageing at 40% concentration, the fragrance becomes even more complex and multi-faceted, resulting in Jubilation 40 Man Extrait capturing the essense of sophistication."
Fragrantica - "Amouge has created a masterpiece, a stronger version of the original and much more complex! Like most Amouge perfumes, this is a perfume that shows its price and quality only in the summer period when the 40% oil perfume produces its sweetness through the heat through a fruity scent, accompanied by expensive oud waves, the complexity is shown after 15 minutes, when the rosemary wakes up and makes this beauty special, pleasant, dry, as one comment I like says "it smells like a prince on a horse, who came out of a sandstorm, a little sweaty, shining in the sun..."
Fragrantica - "Intense fermented fruit vibe on top of a solid base of woods and resins like the OG but a little more buried in that overload that seems to last for the whole fragrance. Much less perfumey than 25, I appreciate both, but to me this is the obvious better one. A much better fit and its probably due to the medicinal and patchouli vibe going that people have pointed out. Sillage feels restrained in the best possible way, this couldn't and shouldn't be a room filler. Just shocking how good this is. Masterpiece."
Fragrantica - "just stupidly gorgeous."
Fragrantica - "Pure opulence. Think the fanciest hotel you’ve never been in, because you can’t afford it. Smells rich, like a polished man who is from generational wealth."
