Etsy: A BIG WINNER. This is incredible. I’ve bought “book scents” before and none came close, but this does and it does it WELL. The leather in this one is very understated which is perfect to get more of that old paper smell. I can smell the cedarwood oil in this one but again, it’s understated and reminds me of the shelves the books would sit in. This is not a hugely strong scent but as a perfumer myself, it’s REALLY hard to get these particular notes to a place where they are super strong. It’s strong enough for me! I got the 5ml bottle but I’m going to upgrade so I just douse myself in it. A lot of folks are saying this is a fall/winter scent but I think it works year round.
Etsy: A nice clean leather/book scent, curious to see how it develops with time. I enjoy it as a background fall atmospheric scent, not super strong but pretty.
