BANANA REPUBLIC CLASSIC CITRUS REVIEWS
Fragrantica: This was an accidental blind buy for me. I thought I was getting the original classic scent, not the citrus version. The ambroyxn in this mixed with the black current deficient gives me Armani Si vibes without the patchouli, so if you like that perfume but aren’t a patchouli lover give this one a go. It has a sharp grapefruit/lemon burst upon spraying, but fades down to mostly the black current, amybroxyn, maybe a small touch of the pine it mentions, but this does not smell like pine sol if that concerns you. This perfume also reminds me of a lighter Light Blue Forever, which is about double the price and limited edition. The longevity isn’t the greatest, I’d say 3-4 hours, sillage is a couple of feet tops. I can see this working as a summer scent, particularly in the evenings.
Fragrantica: This has become one of my favorite easy reach fragrances. Satisfying citrus to cool you on a hot day, just strong enough to be noticed in passing but never offensive. It's addicting in a way and also very versatile; I've worn it both to work and to work out. I don't detect any animal notes or ginger but the piney musky undertone is what helps make this stand out in my opinion. This is an affordable underrated gem!
Fragrance Net: I love this scent! This is one that can be worn everyday for work. It’s definitely a year round scent. It is bright, grassy, and fresh. I get many compliments when I wear it. It isn’t overpowering but has day long staying power.
