Fragrantica - " It starts off clean, citrusy like a fresh peeled orange, and lightly floral—what I imagine taking a bath in a penthouse suite before shopping on Rodeo Drive feels like. These all play very well together and are married by a big dose of honey. This adds a nice sweetness to the fragrance that is not in your face like a confection, but creates a warmth that steers those florals away from being sharp. The real star of Cé Noir is in the bottom notes. That amber and myrrh keeps that warmth coming and adds a grit & earthiness that oozes sexiness for the many hours it stays on as a skin scent. It teeters that line of being just youthful enough while being mature and full-bodied. If you are a super gourmand lover, or not a huge fan of florals, I’d steer clear of blind buying this. As for me, this was right up my alley as I love me some honey and amber in my fragrances!"
