Description

Book and Library smells are some of the most familiar smells - comforting, dry, warm, full of memories.  These are some fragrances with a great book/paper/library smell.


Your sampler pack will include a 1/2 ml sample (1ml sample vial filled half full) of each of the following scents:

  1. Alkemia Old Books and Fresh Flowers - Neroli, heliotrope, pressed between the pages of a leather-bound book
  2. Alkemia The Yellow Book -  amber, tobacco, aldehyde, leather binds, spiced rum, saffron, coffee, yuzu, benzoin and wild honey.
  3. Angela Flanders Parchment - spices, citrus, vanilla, amber resins.
  4. Byredo Bibliotheque - leather bound pages, dark wood, peony and violet.
  5. CB I Hate Perfume In the Library - the standard book/library fragrance, leather bindings, paper and polished wood
  6. Demeter Paperback - a trip to the bookstore with aged paper and a bit of violets and potpourri.
  7. Maison Martin Margiela Whispers in the Library - pepper, tonka, cedarwood
  8. Miller Harris L'Air de Rien - amber, musk, vanilla, patchouli and oakmoss

    4 stars - even though it has helped me realise I don't like grass as much as I thought I would!

    I'm loving these sample collections even if I don't particularly like many of the the individual perfumes, as was the case with the 'Mow me down' grass sampler. A great range and variety, and worth it for the standout marvellous POTL Luctor et emergo - which I wasn't expecting to like at all!
