As much as I wanted to love other ones such as Aquolinas Pink Sugar I just can never get past the burnt sugar and licorice notes. Carousel doesn't have those gross notes in it. The cotton candy is more subtle (but still recognizable in the scent) and it uses other fragrances to balance out the sweetness. As strange at this combination sounds, I really notice a beautiful blend woody, sweet, fresh, and fruity notes when wearing it and I'm obsessed! I'm so happy I've finally found a spun sugar fragrance that actually gives cotton candy and not rotten randy."
