Description

By Kilian Good Girl Gone Bad Extreme is a more intense and lactonic version of the original and is part of the Narcotics Collection. Launched in 2017 and created by Alberto Morillas, it has notes of osmanthus, jasmine, rose de May, tuberose, milk, narcissus, amber and white cedar extract. This is a lactonic (milk) fragrance.

From the brand - "Take the uninhibited whirlwind of flowers in Good girl gone Bad by KILIAN and envelop it in a luscious, milky facet. Fragrance story: It opens with a pink and white bouquet of roses of May, and the most beautiful orange blossoms carried by the song of three sirens, calling from its core: tuberose, Egyptian jasmine sambac, and narcissus. These exquisite flowers are wrapped in a milky toffee elixir, making them half-innocent, half-voluptuous, and now—a delicious temptress altogether."

Kilian Hennessy launched By Kilian in 2007.  Yup, the Cognac Hennessy, grandson to the founder of Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton Group, he followed his interest in scent, writing his thesis on the semantics of odors.  After spending time with leading perfumers, he launched By Kilian with the Collection L'oeuvre Noire (Black Masterpiece) series. There are now 10 fragrances in that series.  The over-the-top marketing copy drew a lot of criticism in the early part of his launch, but the gorgeous packaging - black lacquer boxes and black bottles - started to win us over, as did the artistry of the fragrances.

Reviews of By Kilian Good Girl Gone Bad Extreme

Fragrantica - "t smells like all this white flowers, with roses are in milky bath in a gorgeous way. This perfume is really amazing."

Fragrantica - "LOVE THIS! It is similar to the classic Good Girl Gone Bad, but i find it creamier, milkier, even smoother. Less green than the OG."

Fragrantica - "So gorgeous. I love love this fragrance. Yes, smells like the best day ever. Opens on me with green spring florals, true florals, first crocus of the year florals, foiled loudly and delightfully by photorealistic WET petrichor, mineral and ozonic, like true asphalt in the rain, steaming softly in an early evening warmth. Delicious, I can’t get enough of it. I wish it stayed here forever but eventually it dries down into a more aloof, cool narcisuss, somehow both extremely wearable and intimidatingly unapproachable in a sexy tousled lowkey LA way, made fashionable by suede leather and a subtle mushy warm sandalwood/tonka/vanilla. I might not even notice the sandalwood if I wasn’t looking for it, in spite of that being *my* note. The jasmine’s yummy and runs throughout, I only wish it were slightly more indolic, this one leans very clean. Might detract from the fresh fresh fresh blast at the beginning I so love though, so what do I know, I’m no perfumer. So stunning. Definitely a warm weather daily driver for me, and so special in that it can be while remaining an art piece, a real landscape of a fragrance, a captured mood. Obsessed. This just lights me up so much, reminds me why I fell in love with fragrance to begin with"

Fragrantica - "A beauty. Great quality and gorgeous, soft composition. It reminds me of delicious bubbling peaches & vanilla simmering on the stove. Fresh tuberose. This is my favorite osmanthus note, so far. The wood grounds it perfectly. Not over the top in its sweetness. So balanced. Year-rounder. Would make a great signature for an elegant woman. Pure class."
