Byredo Alto Astral was launched in 2025. A floral aldehyde unisex fragrance created by Jerome Epinette, it has notes of coconut water, aldehydes, incense, jasmine, musk, sandalwood, cashmeran and amber. Byredo Alto Astral is an edp, eau de parfum.

Founded in 2006 in Sweden Byredo perfume's creator Ben Gorham (former basketball player) wanted to create perfumes of quality while keeping their production in Sweden. Gorham had been fascinated with fragrance much of his life. When he meet Pierre Wulff, a perfumer, Byredo came into being.
Fragrantica - "sparkly, effervescent, ethereal the glowing warmth of sunlight reflecting on water, very addictive and heavenly if your idea of heaven is beachy. this is the first summery beachy perfume i smelled with coconut that is not sunscreeny to me (even though i love a sunscreen moment)...most fresh scents bore me to death but this has a brightness and depth that is so interesting and lovely and truly evokes a sense of wonder and idealism. "
Fragrantica - "It smells like Creed’s Virgin Island Water, but without the lime note. I’m surprised how much I like it."
Fragrantica - "I definitely smell the coconut but it’s not the cliche sunscreen type of coconut. I think it’s really well balanced with the pink pepper and incense to smell pretty unique, fresh, clean, and dreamy. Longevity was also better than any other Byredo perfume I’ve tried. Still not stellar. Maybe 4 hours. It’s a great summer scent and personally I could see myself wearing it year-round."

I usually dislike coconut note perfumes because they remind me of either piña colada or sunscreen, but this is really nicely done; the aldehyde note ensures that it's fresh."
