Description

Byredo Rose of No Man's Land was launched in 2015, it is a tribute to the front line nurses in World War I, saving soldier in the danger zone of "no man's land." A rose soliflore with notes Turkey red rose, pink pepper, raspberry bloom, papyrus and amber.

The name is taken from a World War I song:

"Mid the War's great curse

Stands the Red Cross Nurse

She's the rose of 'No Man's Land!"

Founded in 2006 in Sweden Byredo perfume's creator Ben Gorham (former basketball player) wanted to create perfumes of quality while keeping their production in Sweden. Gorham had been fascinated with fragrance much of his life. When he meet Pierre Wulff, a perfumer, Byredo came into being.

Byredo Rose of No Man's Land Reviews

Fragrantica - "RONML is a gorgeous jammy and peppery berry/rose combo. As someone earlier mentioned, it reminds me of traditional Turkish Delight. It has a light and dewy quality to it which makes me picture raindrops collected in the petals of a rose bloom."

Fragrantica - "On me, I smell the fresh, crystal clear rose first with a hint of berry. I personally don’t love this phase, because berry accords often smell a bit too tart on my skin. But the berry is soon replaced by pink pepper, which gives it an airy, dry complexity. That phase lasts for about an hour and finally RONML dries down and becomes a warm, slightly airy, slightly dusty, rose. It smells like a rose that has dried between the pages of a book, and the amber gives it that warmth that suggests life and vitality and keeps it from smelling like something withered. It is a fragile, beautiful, melancholic scent, but airy enough to somehow feel fresh at the same time, which is a pretty amazing feat."

Fragrantica - "Reminds of high quality rose flavoured Turkish delight that my coworker brought home from Turkey. This perfectly represents Turkish rose. It smells so beautiful and delicious (not really in a gourmand way) but if you know, you know. I have Delina and Delina Exclusif. I would choose this over the two. Delina is way too tart and strong for me. If you don't like Delina, I'd suggest you smell Rose of No Man's Land before completely dismissing rose scents."

Fragrantica - " was in a restaurant and could smell this amazing perfume from the table next door. Every now and then I got a whiff and so I went to the girls at the table and asked the name of their perfume - they said it was this one."
