CHASING SCENTS RAIN TEA REVIEWS
LuckyScent: I love a good tea scent, and this one is pretty supreme. Some tea scents have more of a dry quality, but this one does a really good job of conveying a fresh, wet, hydrated tea feeling. Refreshing and uplifting.
Fragrantica: As with Tea Service, Rain Tea smells like a tea I actually have in my collection, a lovely, slightly smoky, chrysanthemum tea. The smokiness likely comes from the dryness of the chamomile and barley notes, but the smokiness is sun-dried rather than cinder. The honey and longan notes are not as sweet on my skin, though it seems some people are getting too much sweetness when they try it. They play a good supporting background to the strong, chrysanthemum tea. Though I like Tea Service better than Rain Trea, Rain Tree is an amazing sent.
Fragrantica: Honey, chrysanthemum flowers, photorealistic tea perfume. A little touch of petrichor. I was surprised by how much I loved all of the Chasing Scents tea perfumes, They are all so special and so wearable! This one might be my favorite- it really is the most realistic floral tea perfume I’ve ever tried. Lasts long and projects well without screaming at everyone in the room.
Fragrantica: A honeyed tea scent with some earthy and herbal accords. Opens with a freshly herbal floral blend and hints of spice that quickly becomes that very handed honeyed tea. The rain notes add a damp musky air to the background of the scent that feels reminiscent of a rainy day. The tea is a gorgeously aromatic note like a freshly brewed cup, in your hand as you outlook a window in a reading nook and it rains outside. The dry down is a bit drier with that barley, has a hint of tartness from the longan berries, and is overall a cozy honey forward tea scent with some earthiness to it.
Fragrantica: Rain Tea is gorgeous, period. Honey heavy like Slowdive by Hiram Green with a more herbal element instead of a resinous one. The floral notes float around like the morning fog. Rain Tea smells like the color scheme of the scene in Pride & Prejudice (film) where Mr. Darcy is walking through the meadow to confess his love. I am bewitched.
